I was wondering if there are hooks in the current A-TF implementation for inserting in additional custom boot stages. We want to implement some early IP block initialization of an SoC before BL2 is loaded but don't necessary want to it in the BL1 BootROM as it might increase risks for the BootROM. So think of it as a BL1.5 (that we want to lock down) that would be part of the FIP and loaded by BootROM, does some of this this early IP block initilization, and then loads BL2 and then BL2 would continue to do what it currently does in terms on loading and verify BL3.x stages.
