I noticed this as well, and I was on the verge of submitting a patch until I looked into it further and decided that the current default is justifiable.

Yes, you are right ID_AA64PFR0_EL1 must be used. Thanks for spotting this!

OK. Regarding naming suggestions, I like func_noabi/endfunc_noabi the most. The reason why I am discounting asmfunc/endasmfunc is because a function implemented in assembly language might still respect the ABI.
I suggest we start with func_noabi/endfunc_noabi and continue the discussion on the patch on Gerrit. Unfortunately, this ticketing system does not have the same visibility as Gerrit or the mailing list and not everyone subscribe to these.

Hi @sandrine-bailleux-arm
Ok, In order to safe iterations.
I plan to suggest a new macro which does the followin
- creates a new section - as func does
- sets the alginment - as func does
- sets the type
- together with the counterpart end??? is sets the .size
. Proposals for names
- func_noabi/endfunc_noabi - a non-abi conformant function
- asmfunc/endasmfunc - a assembly routine/function
- sym/endsym - short, but the name does not imply that it actually creates a block of code/own section
- ...

Current gerrit proposal to fix this can be found in https://review.trustedfirmware.org/c/TF-A/trusted-firmware-a/+/3749 (and related preceding commits).
I can try end of the week. Thanks.

Corrected with the following commit that has just been merged:

This makes sense to me. Would you mind preparing a patch that removes the func macro on el3_exit and post it on review.trustedfirmware.org ?
Mar 17 2020
I took the patch and put it into gerrit. Due to a lack of name or email address I used mine. Happy to change that once I learn about the real identity of "armlabs".
Mar 12 2020
Hi Andrew, yes the change looks fine.
If this generally looks okay I'm happy to follow https://developer.trustedfirmware.org/w/tf_a/gerrit-getting-started/ and push this for review according to the TF-A workflow.
Again, this is for now staged via Pete's tree and you can view the pull request here - https://github.com/pbatard/arm-trusted-firmware/pull/2

Nerver mind :) Glad if it works now. Cheers, Olivier.
Closing the issue as the RSA Key size support has now been merged.
The TF-A now has support for RSA-3K in Cryptocell variant.
https://review.trustedfirmware.org/#/c/TF-A/trusted-firmware-a/+/2263/
I am sorry guys.
I need to apologize to all who have helped me with this issue.
Cryptocell key sizes are different. You have different key sizes and i have different, Here we need to move on because all these are different and if you just not share it with a perfect essayhave project then move and start to find something else.
Jan 13 2020
The log seems to show additional options versus the regular TF-A build:
-march=armv8-a -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector-strong -fno-plt
Jan 10 2020
Okay, here's the log.
Jan 9 2020
I installed manjaro-arm on an rpi3 and cloned TF-A commit 0348ee49135c
Jan 8 2020
Unfortunately the option won't show on asm files, but only on C files.
Jan 7 2020
Does not seem like it does.
PS: We patched it to work with clang as a test as well.

HI Rickdic,
Could you please send this query to the TF-A mailing list ?
I tried on an arm64 machine (using gcc8.3) but did not reproduce the issue.
Jan 6 2020
Thanks guys.
I suspect this problem arises because of building natively (although I agree this should normally work).
Hi,
I was able to compile TF-A for rk3328 platform using the same command and specifying the CROSS_COMPILE as aarch64-linux-gnu-
I use the publicly available toolchain https://developer.arm.com/tools-and-software/open-source-software/developer-tools/gnu-toolchain/gnu-a/downloads .In this case, I specifically used the 8.3 x86_64 Linux hosted cross compiler in my Ubuntu 18.04 (Virtual Box image ).
If I am not wrong, you dont have to use a cross compiler. However, I dont have access to a native Arm machine to test your build command. What compiler did you use?
I know this task is closed, but I just ran into this issue with the 0348ee49135c07441d249bce556eba0c8ddd6be2 commit.

I'm not too much versed into RAS error handling, so please take my explanation below with care.
I suggest you send the question to the TF-A ML to get more sensible insights.

yes, it hit a code side limit, I will check it.

Running bisect between v2.2 and master it seems this issue started from commit ab4df50c23b9 ("adding support to enable different personality of the same soc.").
I've subscribed both of you to this ticket because git blame shows you as contributors for this platform port. Sorry if you're not the right people to notify about this and feel free to bounce that back to whoever would be appropriate!
https://review.trustedfirmware.org/c/TF-A/trusted-firmware-a/+/2302 has been merged so I am closing this task.
